It really seemed like only yesterday that Ryan and I founded Faire Collective. It has been a crazy but awesome year and we are so grateful that you guys have been so supportive in providing us with honest feedback and even going so far as to offer ideas, design suggestions and advice.

As many of you know, we have just celebrated our 1^st birthday. We decided a few months ago that we wanted to do a special anniversary edition to celebrate this occasion – so here it is: the original Bond collection (that we launched on Kickstarter on 15^th November 2017), but finished in beautiful matte gunmetal hardware.

AE2018, which stands for Anniversary Edition 2018 is a celebration of our first year but also an idea that we’ve had for a while now.

Just a bit of background on this – about a year and a bit ago, we were deciding if we should launch the Bond collection in brushed silver hardware or matte gunmetal hardware. We saw the benefits of both types but went with brushed silver in the end because of the lower cost.

So arguably, we waited for more than a year to bring this product to you guys and we really hope you like it. We will be giving away a Black VT Bond Travel Briefcase in matte gunmetal very soon so keep a close eye on our social media pages and our EDMs for more info.
