Brand Focus: Why our Interiors are Burgundy
If you guys have probably noticed, I have designed ALL Faire Collective products with burgundy interiors – from our Luxury Tech Organisers like the Bond Everyday Padfolio, to our offering of Slim Leather Wallets like the Specter Card Wallet and various Bifold Wallets.
I have also personally been responding to most of your enquiries/messages on our website’s chatbot and social media platforms, and I’ve noticed that a lot of you have asked if we have alternate coloured interiors for our products – at present, the answer is no and here’s why.
When Ryan and I first conceptualised this brand, we wanted to create a signature colour that everyone would associate with. A good example would be the “robin egg blue colour” that is always associated with the boxes and paper bags from the jewelry company, Tiffany & Co..
We both loved how burgundy was classic and elegant, but at the same time not a colour commonly associated with a men’s leather staple (such as a briefcase or wallet) – it represented what the brand stood for: beautifully minimalist products that offered so much more.
Henceforth, we decided that burgundy would be our signature colour and that we would include it in the interiors of all our products. While we acknowledge your requests, I do hope my explanation suffices – much as we aspire to be a brand for the people, we also want to be consistent with our branding ideals. I sincerely hope you love our burgundy as much as Ryan and I do.
Best,
Joseph
